First United Methodist Church of Middlebury Leadership
First United Methodist Church of Middlebury is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Reverend Dr. David Schrader
Interim Senior Pastor
Our interim pastor through June 2022 is the Reverend Dr. David Schrader. David was a pastor and a District Superintendent in the Indiana Conference for 40 years before his retirement from full-time ministry in 2020. His last full-time appointment was at South Bend Grace where he served for 13 years. While serving half-time as our interim, he will continue to serve as our district's Associate Superintendent. David and his wife, Pamela, have been married for 45 years and have two adult children. Pamela is a retired psychotherapist. Though he will only be here five months, Pastor David believes that even in the short time we have we will be able to do great things together for the glory of God. He also looks forward to helping us prepare to receive our new full-time Senior Pastor in July.
